A memory I will never forget is laying in bed with my toddler watching Epcot fireworks. What a cool experience, and something you can only get from a Deluxe resort.
We also once stayed at Beach Club villas and had a clear shot of Spaceship Earth from our balcony. Imagine drinking your morning coffee with that view. Ummm, yes please.

INSIDER TIP: As a toddler mom, a villa is a must for my family, and here’s why. It’s so convenient to walk to and from the parks, while your little one gets to relax in the stroller. I actually love walking the path to Hollywood Studios while my toddler naps. It’s so peaceful! Villas are also great because you can still enjoy the living area while your little one sleeps in the bedroom undisturbed.

- Disney Deluxe Resorts offers more room options, including studios with plates, silverware, cups, mugs, a toaster, and a bottle opener. While regular rooms at Disney World hotels might offer you a mini fridge or a simple beverage cooler, the studios kick it up with a sink, mini fridge, and microwave! The other Deluxe villas are even larger and also have a washer, dryer, kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and more!

- One-bedroom villas: Can sleep up to five people and include a washer, dryer, and laundry supplies.
- Two-bedroom villas: Can sleep up to nine people
- Three-bedroom villas: Include a full kitchen
- Grand Villas: Sleeps up to twelve people. The villas are 2,800 square feet and have a master bedroom with a whirlpool tub and shower.
- Cabins: Sleeps up to six guests. A standard cabin is typically a little over 500 square feet. Each cabin has a separate bedroom with a bed and bunk beds. Plus, you get a pull-down double bed in the living room.
- Bungalows: Sleeps up to 8 people. The bungalows have one queen-size bed, one queen-size sleeper sofa, and one single pull-down bed.

The price range for Disney World’s deluxe resort villas varies by resort and room type.
For example, the average nightly rate for deluxe studios at Disney World resorts ranges from $444 to $808. One-bedroom villas can range from $540 to $1,200.
Now, if you look at the Grand Floridian Villas, they have an average nightly rate of $808 or more! The nightly rates start at $700 and can exceed $1,000 during some seasons. The cost of a villa also depends on the number of bedrooms.
Now, Grand Floridian is one of the priciest, but let’s break it down so you can see pricing for a top-tier villa.
- Deluxe Studios range from $709–$1,270
- One-Bedroom Villas range from $972–$1,757

- Exclusive Perks: Deluxe resort guests, DVC Members, and guests at Disney Vacation Club Resorts like Jambo House or Boulder Ridge Villas enjoy early theme park entry.
Cons:
- Price Tag: The biggest hurdle for many is the price. Staying in a villa, especially at sought-after locations like Disney’s Yacht Club Resorts or Animal Kingdom Villas, can be significantly more expensive than booking a standard hotel room or even other Disney resort hotel guest accommodations.
- Hard to get a reservation: Villas are a hot commodity and are hard to get. So, if you do plan to book a villa, the sooner you can book it, the better.
- May Feel Less Traditional: If you’re looking for the quintessential Disney resort hotel experience, a villa might feel a bit too much like home and less like a getaway. The ambiance in villa accommodations is designed to be more residential, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Disney Vacation Club Villas
Here’s one of my favorite tricks to book luxury villas for a fraction of the cost…
By renting Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points.
There are lots of DVC resorts out there, and you can actually rent villas from DVC members.
Renting DVC points is a popular way to enjoy Disney’s deluxe resorts on a budget. In fact, I just rented DVC points, and the total amount I saved by renting points is a little over $1,000 for a four-night stay.
Let me give you a breakdown of my last booked vacation and share how much I actually saved.
- I booked a Boardwalk Inn 1 Bedroom villa for 5 nights in April 2024.
- The total price is $3,200 for 5 nights.
- For the same exact dates, resort, and room type, booking directly through Disney, the price was approximately $4,300.

Advice For a First-Timer
Suppose you’re a first-timer for the villa experience. I’ve stayed at a lot of different villas across resorts, and if I were to recommend a starter resort, I’d recommend Disney’s Boardwalk Villas.
It’s really easy to navigate around the grounds, you get all of the Boardwalk fun, and you can walk to not one but two parks, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s about a 20-minute walk from Hollywood Studios and a 10-minute walk to Epcot.
The price range is usually reasonable, and it’s also pretty easy to score a reservation here!
